Box Construction The cabinet box is made from new plywood. Monticello Cabinets and Doors never uses any particle board construction.
Reclaimed Lumber Monticello’s cabinets are constructed of timber from old mills and large manufacturing shops in the Northern part of the United States and Canada. When you receive your cabinets, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity identifying the origin of your wood.
Cabinet Drawers All of Monticello’s drawer systems are made from solid hardwoods with a dovetail drawer system. They offer both side ball bearing tracks and the undermount “Blumotion” system.
Cabinet Hinges The cabinets come standard with a hidden hinge; an optional barrel hinge is for appearance only. The “Blum” hinge system is the best in the world.
Furniture Monticello can match your cabinets with hand-made furniture from antique woods. They can make any piece of furniture to your specifications on a case-by-case basis.

A unique Old World look is available in our custom cabinets from Monticello. Each custom piece is built with hand selected reclaimed virgin lumber and coupled with modern functionality—there’s nothing to match it in the industry! Though the cabinet faces are rustic, they are soft to the touch and ideally suited for French Country, Tuscany, and Old World styles.
